Eilen's voice hoovers beautifully above the extremely skilled and loose musicianship of the band. I clearly make out the beautiful lyrics and the beautiful soundscape, and the mood of the album fits right in with my own. The mix of country ballads and rockabilly is an interesting one that I hadn't even considered before, but the songs fit together nicely. 'Queen of the Minor Key' holds my interest throughout the album, and after hearing it once I just HAD to hear it one more time.
